This family room is one of my favorite transformations!  The room was spacious but closed off from the rest of the house.  While the barn like ceiling hid the height of the room. Knocking down a wall improved the function and flow of the space.  Restructuring the ceiling created volume and highlighted the tremendous height of the 11 foot ceilings.  We added sliding doors leading out to the deck giving the clients the option of indoor/outdoor entertaining with ease. The space has been updated with clean lines which reflect the clients' taste creating an open concept family room that connects with the newly remodeled kitchen. Needless to say this room has truly become the hub of the house!
